THE MIKMAR RANCHER BIT
The "Rancher" bit is an all-purpose bit offering versatility and usability for ranch related work, trail riding and western competitions. It combines classic western looks with Mikmars' superior results. The "Rancher" is also an excellent show bit or companion to the Mikmar Training or Combination bits.
 The 4 3/4 inch Aluminum shanks swivel, allowing for added lateral control as well as vertical flexion and independent shoulder lift. Mikmars' slanted-low port mouthpiece is non-pinching, with a copper roller that stimulates saliva, keeps a nervous horse pacified, and encourages the horse to loosen and soften in the jaw.
The "Rancher" is useful for correcting horses that are high headed, and needing more collection and balance. A nice tool for helping the horse transfer weight to the hind quarters, and getting underneath himself for better turns, stops and back up. It offers good rate and response.
 Available in 5.25" and 5.5" mouthpiece sizes.
