The Mikmar Two Ring
Popular with both the English and Western disciplines, the Mikmar Two Ring offers medium poll pressure and leverage action. The shanks double-ringed purchase assures that the bridle stays steady and fixed in place yielding a quicker acting bit. A good choice for those desiring a loose ring with medium leverage. Nice pick up-let go feeling bit. This bit discourages the horse from leaning and pulling, with excellent rate or half halt. Provides good stop and control, but not strong enough for tough-mouthed difficult to stop types. The Two Ring combines the unique Mikmar link-style mouthpiece made of Sweet Iron, and a Two ring shank made of high quality stainless steel. The mouthpiece aids in keeping the mouth soft and moist as well as pacified. There are two areas for rein placement: the upper large ring  gives a milder feel and the lower small ring gives the most leverage. Excellent for both schooling and competition. We recommend using a leather curb strap for bit stability.
